On Tuesday, December 20, 2016, Knights of Columbus Council 4522 presented the awards for this year’s KoC Essay Contest at the Queen of Apostles School. Grand Knight Cesar Anchiraico, Joe Lynem, PGK, and Brother Leo Weston represented the Council. This year’s winners were, right to left, starting from Grand Knight Anchiraico: 1st Place, Victoria; 2nd Place, Bethania and 3rd Place Alex. The winners were presented cash prizes of $150, $100 and $50 dollars .JPG)

In attendance from the school were the Principal Mrs. Littlefield, the 8th grade Essay coordinator, Mrs. Arias, the middle school students (6th through 8th grade), parents and other teachers. All and all, it was a great turnout and a very exciting day for the Council, the school, and certainly for the winners!
