CHARLES J. CONNOR JR. (Age 72) On Friday October
10, 2008 of Falls Church, VA. Husband of Joanne Connor, father of Larry
(Katy), Brian (Kim) and Neil (Karen) Connor. Grandfather of Matthew,
John, Timothy, and Maggie (deceased). He was very active in
Saint Philips Parish, Knights of Columbus, Ancient Order of
Hibernians, Elks, and was currently on the board at the Catholic Diocese
of Arlington. He retired as Vice President, Senior Trust Officer at
First Virginia Bank and was a 4th Degree Member of the Knights
of Columbus. Friends may call at THE MURPHY FALLS CHURCH
FUNERAL HOME, 1102 West Broad Street (Rte 7) on Monday October 13, 2008
from 6 to 8 p.m. where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Mass
of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Philips Catholic Church, 7506
St. Philips Ct., Falls Church, VA 22042. on Tuesday October 14 at 11
a.m. Interment Fairfax Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial
contributions may be made to The Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center for
Brain Cancer Research or The Children 's Hospital Foundation Heart, Lung
and Kidney Program. |
